W B Thompson Ltd, Moray Street, Blackford, Perth and Kinross

W B Thomson of Perth acquired William Eadie's inn and former brewery in 1895. He commissioned a new brewery and maltings on land at the rear, opened in 1897. Registered in 1898 as W B Thompson Ltd but acquired by J A Davidson of Coldstream Brewery Co. Ltd in 1916.

The Blackford Hotel still stands on Moray Street, with Thomson's former maltings behind.
