Brewing commenced as Bragdy Gwynant in 1996. Closed 1998 and brewing transferred to [[Flannery's Brewery]] but reopened at this site in 2004.

The brewery reopened in early 2000 as Bragdy Ty Bach. Taken over by the owners of Spinning Dog brewery in early 2001. The brewery reopened in 2004 under new ownership and name as Bragdy Gwynant.
