Turner's Ayr & Newton Breweries Ltd, Ayr Brewery, 12 Mill Street, Ayr, Strathclyde.

Founded by A M Turner at the Kyle Tavern, Ayr 1868.

Newton Brewery acquired 1881. Registered March 1898 to acquire the business of Andrew Muir Turner who traded as Turner's Brewery, Main Street, Newtown-upon-Ayr with 9 houses and James Watson & Co, Ayr Brewery.

Ceased brewing at Ayr 1911/12 and at Newton in 1929 but the business was continued as mineral water manufacturers and bottlers.

Name changed to Turner's (Ayr) Ltd. c.1930.

Associated with Tennent Ltd. from 1934 and were acquired by them in 1961.
