James Lees, Town Lane Brewery, Town Lane, Denton, Greater Manchester

In 1851, James Lees was a Hat Manufacturer in Worsley. By 1861, he was recorded as a brewer. There was also a farm at the site.

By 1881, his son, Thomas, was an Assistant Brewer.

By 1891, another son, William Lees was recorded as Master Brewer.
