Founded 1856 and was acquired by Tollemache Brothers from Charles Cullingham & Co.1888.

Registered May 1896 as Tollemache's Ipswich Brewery Ltd. Name changed as above 4th August 1920 when Collier Brothers of Walthamstow were acquired.

Merged with Cobbold & Co. Ltd. 1957 and brewing ceased 1961.
