Founded 1900. Merged with [[Benjamin Kelsey Ltd]]. of Birmingham 1933 to form Thornley Kelsey Ltd. Brewery closed October 1968 to allow concentration on the wine wholesaling business. Their 68 tied houses were sold, the majority to [[Davenport's Brewery Ltd]]. The brewery has been demolished although the maltings remain.
