Founded prior to 1820 by Edmund Thompson.

Registered February 1894 to acquire Thompson & Son.

Acquired by Charrington & Co. Ltd. 1951 with c.100 houses and brewing ceased 1953.

Used as a depot and maltings until 1974 and demolished in 1978.
