Thomas Bailey, Globe Public House, Bridge Street, Witham, Essex.

Home-brewing was taking place at The Globe public house, situated just across the road from The Swan home-brew house.

Thomas Bailey was brewing here between 1874 to 1886. At around the turn of the century the Globe was purchased by William Bright & Sons Ltd of the Coggeshall, Stoneham Street Brewery, when the licensee was A. Wass.
