Thomas & James Bernard Ltd, Edinburgh Brewery, 84 Slateford Road, Edinburgh, Lothian.

Founded 1840 by Daniel Bernard at the Old Edinburgh Brewery, North Back, Canongate. The New Edinburgh Brewery, Slateford Road, was built c.1885.

Regular brewing did not start until 1888 due to problems with water quality and a fire.

Registered March 1895.

Acquired by Scottish Brewers Ltd. April 1960 and was closed.
