T Lightfoot, Wellgarth Brewery, Masham, North Yorkshire.

Acquired by Theakston Ltd in 1919 when owned by C W H Tucker with 10 houses and was closed. Theakstons subsequently used the premises as an adjunct to their Masham brewery, and parts were used for malting. Parts of the site are still owned by Theakstons, and they own the White Bear Hotel at this site.

Parts of the premises were acquired by Paul Theakston, who opened the Black Sheep Brewery plc here in 1992.
