Founded 1865. Croft-an-Righ Brewery acquired 1874.

Registered May 1888. Greenhead Brewery sold to James Calder & Co. (Brewers) Ltd. in 1946.

Acquired by ppVaux & Associated Breweries Ltd]]. 1959 with 16 public houses.

Ceased brewing 1960.
