Acquired by Higson's Brewery Ltd in June 1919 with 5 tied houses, as follows: Cheshire Cheese, Wallasey; Farmers Arms, Wallasey; Pool Inn, Wallasey; Jolly Sailor, Poulton, Plough Inn, New Brighton.
