The sale notice of 1915

Smith & Sons Ltd, Brimscombe Brewery, Brewery Lane, Thrupp, Stroud, Gloucestershire.

Registered 1898.

Offered for auction September 1915 with 22 public houses.

The houses realised £18,075 but the brewery was not sold until 1919 when it was bought by the Stroud Brewery Co. Ltd.

Used as a garage in 1980s. The following is a list of breweries trading in Bedfordshire.
