Traded as Silvester & Co. 1885-1894 then acquired by Sinden & Tasker.


Bought by J G Knight of Hailsham in 1901 together with the brewery at Newick that he used as a store. Brewery then sold to J Roberts of Worthing in 1902 who were wines and spirits merchants by 1906.

Brewery dated from 1793 rebuilt 1887.

Traded as Silvester & Co. 1885-1894 then acquired by Sinden & Tasker.
