Acquired 1889 by Sykes Brewery Co. Ltd. of Burton as the Albion Brewery (Mary Silver had changed its name in 1883). Rented to Thomas Broughall trading as T B Basnett who moved from the [[Standard Brewery Co. Ltd]], Hunter's Road, in 1891.
