Showell's Stockport Brewery Ltd, Brookfield Brewery, Hempshaw Lane, Stockport, Greater Manchester.
Founded 1890 when Walter Showell: Showell's Brewery Co. Ltd of Oldbury acquired Sarah Marsland's Brookfield Brewery established 1866. Formed into a separate company as above in 1896 with 93 houses & 3 off-licences.
Acquired by Walker & Homfrays Ltd in 1910.
