Built in 1862 by Grimsby builder Hobson Dunkley, and enlarged in 1874. Later owned by Bass and Stones. An old photograph displayed inside the bar showed that the fascia above the windows had stone lettering: 'BASS ONLY' ... 'BASS FROM THE WOOD AND IN BOTTLE' ...'BASS ONLY'. This lettering has been chipped off and painted over; it is now barely discernible.

Sea View Hotel, North Parade, Skegness, Lincolnshire PE25 1BY (now 'Seaview')

Built in 1862 by Grimsby builder Hobson Dunkley, and enlarged in 1874. Later owned by Bass and Stones. An old photograph displayed inside the bar showed that the fascia above the windows had stone lettering: 'BASS ONLY' ... 'BASS FROM THE WOOD AND IN BOTTLE' ...'BASS ONLY'. This lettering has been chipped off and painted over; it is now barely discernible.
