In 1914, Sarah Hughes was brewing in Bilston: see [[Sarah Hughes (Bilston)]]. Moved to the Beacon Hotel, Sedgley, after buying it at auction in 1920.
The Beacon Hotel has a Victorian tower brewery at the rear, and it operated as a home-brew pub in the 19th century. In 1914, Sarah Hughes was brewing in Bilston: see [[Sarah Hughes (Bilston)]].
