Sarah Hughes, Beacon Hotel, 129 Bilston Street, Sedgley, West Midlands.

In 1914, Sarah Hughes was brewing in Bilston: see Sarah Hughes (Bilston). Moved to the Beacon Hotel, Sedgley, after buying it at auction in 1920.

A second home-brew pub, the Plume of Feathers, High Street, Dudley, was acquired in 1936.

Brewing ceased at the Beacon Hotel in 1958, but was recommenced by the family in 1987.
