Recorded in 1895. Traded as Yeo, Radcliffe & Dawe. Jessie Yeo was recorded here from 1910 to 1923.

During the 1950s it traded as the North Devon Stores.

Brewing had ceased before 1960 when it was acquired as a pub only by Charrington & Co. Ltd after G H Dawe retired.
