Rochdale & District Clubs Brewery Co. Ltd, Halifax Road, Hursted, Rochdale, Greater Manchester.

The brewery's first owner was James Heap, who in 1886 sold it to Thomas Newton. The latter being the nephew of George Hotham a partner in the Tadcaster Tower Brewery Co. Ltd.

Newton traded as the Littleborough Brewery Ltd. until he was declared bankrupt in 1889.

The business traded as the Dearnley Brewery Co to 1898, when it became Parsons & Co, Smithy Bridge.

The 30 barrel plant was for sale 2nd October 1895.

In 1906 it was bought by the Rochdale & District Clubs Brewery.

In 1942 the business became Littleborough Brewery Ltd which itself was bought by Hammond's United Breweries Ltd in 1948.
