Robert Compston, Rock Tavern, 47 Captain French Lane, Kendal, Cumbria.

Brewed 1877-1895, then 1898 Mrs Margaret A Compston. Local brewery Whitwell, Mark & Co. Ltd owned the pub in 1910.

Closed as a pub in about 1911, and converted to a house.
