RCH Brewery was set up in 1983 by Paul Davey at the Royal Clarence Hotel in Burnham-on-Sea, which gave it its name. But the success of the venture proved so enormous that Paul had to move to new premises at nearby West Hewish.
Paul and his team now produce a wide range of beers, including Old Slug which has restored the balance between porter and lighter beers. It has also won several awards with its beers at various west country shows.
