Phipps Brewery Ltd, 122 Bridge Street, Northampton, Northamptonshire.
Founded 1801 at Towcester by Pickering Phipps.
Brewing began at Northampton in 1817. New brewery built at Towcester 1874 and remained in use until c.1905.
Registered September 1881. After the merger with the Northampton Brewery Co. Ltd. became Phipps Northampton Brewery Co. Ltd.
Acquired by Watney Mann Ltd. 1960 with 1,171 houses and the name was changed as above in 1964.
