Philip S.Wright, Springhead or Springholes Brewery, Springholes Lane, Thornton, Bradford, West Yorkshire.

Founded by Benjamin Robinson c.1866. Followed by John Thomas Robinson c.1888 and Philip Wright from c.1901 to c.1906.

For sale on his retirement May 1907.

Malcolm Toft writes:-

In existence in 1866, the premises was run by Benjamin Robinson farmer and brewer. The property passed to John Thomas Robinson in November 1888 via the will of Benjamin.

A small number of public houses were owned by the firm over the years.

By 1901 Philip S Wright had taken control with Aaron Butterfield as brewer, this concern only appears to have lasted about five years.
