Brewhouse and John Bellamy recorded in 1808. Daniel Jackson recorded as brewer in 1842. Partnership of Daniel and George Jackson dissolved in 1857.
1887: Robert Henry Clemow, here and also Peacock Brewery, Shodfriars Lane (this being Howden’s old site). Ellen Louise Clemow recorded in 1914 but bankrupt 1917.
Hotel for sale with brewery attached 1920. Demolished and replaced with a Boots store.
