Founded in 1794. A partly thatched building with a waterwheel.
A partly thatched building, a former mill, with a waterwheel. A brewery was established here by Samuel Gundy in 1794; then Mr Job Legg took over, who further expanded the brewery. In the late 1880s, the business was bought by the Palmer family and run by Mr J C Palmer.  


Private company registered 1975. Still independent.
