A plaque on the front elevation states that it was first recorded as an inn in 1841. Also that in 1874, the inn passed to a family called '''Castelow''' who made beer in the inn's brewhouse (see: [[Charles Castelow (Leeds)]]).

Palace Hotel, Kirkgate, Leeds, West Yorkshire LS2 7DJ

Formerly a Melbourne Brewery (Leeds) Ltd house.

A plaque on the front elevation states that it was first recorded as an inn in 1841. Also that in 1874, the inn passed to a family called Castelow who made beer in the inn's brewhouse (see: Charles Castelow (Leeds)).
