James Paine Brewery Ltd, John Bull Brewery, Market Square, St Neots, Cambridgeshire.
Founded 1831 when James Paine acquired the brewery site.
Registered as Paine & Co. Ltd. July 1896.
Destroyed by fire 19th October 1905 but rebuilt following year.
Acquired by a group of travel agents 1982 and renamed as above.
Acquired by Tollemache Breweries Ltd. 1987 and ceased brewing.
Listed brewery buildings converted into riverside apartments, with the Market Square facade retained.
