J & J Yardley & Co Ltd was registered in November 1897 to acquire Job & Joseph Yardley Ltd and I Yardley & Sons, brewers and maltsters of Bloxwich and Darlaston and the South Staffordshire Brewery Co. Ltd of Wolverhampton, with a total of 134 public houses.
In April 1910, the company was taken over by Old Wolverhampton Breweries Ltd, this company having been founded in 1871 by William Turner.
Acquired by Frank Myatt Ltd. 1919.
