Founded 1800 at the Robin Hood and built Sun Brewery in 1885.  
Founded by Ogden licensee of 1800 at the Robin Hood Inn.  


Acquired by [[Greene King & Sons Ltd]] November 1930 with 34 houses.
When he retired it was taken by his son Ambrose jun.
 
In 1885 he bought the Rising Sun from T Phillips and built a brewery at the rear.
 
In 1930 the business was sold to [[Greene King & Sons Ltd]] with 34 houses by Edward & Charles Ogden, grandsons of the founder.
