Founded by Richard Lewis before 1843, possibly following on from Goolde & Co (also at Bristol).

Registered as above in September 1894 to acquire R Lewis, Clutton, and John Thatcher, Radford Brewery, Timsbury.

Dissolved October 1897 but brewing may have continued until January 1914 when 7 public houses were sold.

Acquired by Sidney Fussell & Sons Ltd.

Connection to Lewis & Co of Bristol.
