Home-brew house. In 1930 William Wyvill at the Duke of Newcastle. Private company registered March 1931 by E S Randall & W L Brown of Kent. Later owned by James Hole & Co. Ltd of Newark.
The brewhouse still exists in Bluecoat Street, but the whole building has been converted to flats.
