Taking its name from the former Lion Brewery in Totnes which ceased trading in 1926, the New Lion Brewery was established in 2013 at Station Road, Totnes, Devon TQ9 7SW.

In September 2019, they moved to larger premises in Dartington. There is a bottle shop and tap room on-site.
