Nethergate Brewery, 11-13 High Street, Clare, Suffolk.

Founded March 1986 by Ian Hornsey. It began with a 10-barrel Peter Austin plant. Moved to Pentlow in Essex in 2004.

Brewing commenced 2004 after the move from Clare in Suffolk. In 2012 it changed its name to Growler Brewery before changing back to Nethergate. In 2017, it moved to a new brewhouse, shop and bar at Long Melford.

A new brewhouse and bar opened in 2017 following the move from Pentlow.
