Recorded 1892. On 8th March 1894, for sale with brewhouse, Joseph Hutchins deceased. In 1895, Sidney (or Sydney) Stodhart Smart was at the Nags Head, then 1898 listed in Market Place, whilst John Cotterell Smart held the pub.
 
Converted to apartments, although a 'Nags Head' survives over the doorway.

Recorded in 1894.


The offices were in New Park Street while the brewery was in Stert. Noting that in 1890 Thomas A Berry was fined £100 for not recording a small porter brewery at the Stert Brewery.

Nags Head Brewery, 77 New Park Street, Devizes, Wiltshire.

Recorded 1892. On 8th March 1894, for sale with brewhouse, Joseph Hutchins deceased. In 1895, Sidney (or Sydney) Stodhart Smart was at the Nags Head, then 1898 listed in Market Place, whilst John Cotterell Smart held the pub.

Converted to apartments, although a 'Nags Head' survives over the doorway.
