Founded 1669 by James Pashley and acquired by Mackeson family 1801. Registered In September 1900. Acquired by H.& G. [[Simonds Ltd]]. of Reading 1920 and was sold to [[Jude, Hanbury & Co. Ltd]]. 1929, which came under the control of [[Whitbread & Co. Ltd]].
