Lush & Co. Ltd, St.George's Brewery, St.George's Square, Portsea, Portsmouth, Hampshire.

Founded by Robert Temple 1757 and acquired by the Spicer family 1801. Run by Pike & Co. from 1840 and brewing ceased 1848 after Pike, Spicer & Co. Ltd. was formed.

Brewing recommenced 1859 when George Lush moved from the Hawke Brewery, Hawke Street, founded 1809 by George Clements.

Registered July 1895. Acquired privately by Sir William Dupree, head of Portsmouth United Breweries, in 1910 with 30 houses.

Acquired by Portsmouth United Breweries Ltd 1924.
