George Habgood & Son Public Houses.

Groves took over some beer houses pre the auction of 28 July 1915. Some were not part of that auction and were held by the family, but the ones, along with the brewery (built 1876) were as follows:

• Yacht Inn, Market Street, Poole £1,000 (renamed Guildhall Tavern 1971)
• Coventry Arms, Corfe Mullen £1,000
• Railway Hotel, Station Road, West Moors £1,000 (renamed Mariners Rest 1971)
• London Brewery (off-licence & brewhouse), Christchurch - £700
• Pinecliff Hotel, Seabourne Road, Southbourne, Bournemouth (now Brewhouse & Kitchen Bournemouth) - £4,300
• George Inn, Cornmarket, Wimborne £700
• Greyhound Inn, Poole Street, Wimborne £800
• Cricketers Arms, Park Lane, Wimborne £800
• Three Lions, Pye Corner, Wimborne £800 (The former brewery tap. The Julian Brewery was behind and adjacent to the pub. Now called the Minster Arms - free house)
• White Horse, West Quay Road, Poole (Demolished due to High Street redevelopment in late 1960s/early 1970s)
• Barley Mow Inn, Colehill, near Wimborne (now Enterprise)
• Bear Cross Hotel, Kinson, Bournemouth (now Hall & Woodhouse - rebuilt in 1950s?)
• Stocks Inn, Furzehill, near Wimborne (Punch)
• The Gold Oak, Cranborne
• The Haven Hotel, Sandbanks, Poole (Not sold at auction and held by the family. Still a major hotel at Sandbanks by the ferry)
• The Horns Inn, West Parley, near Ferndown
• Cross Keys Inn, Mannington, near Cranborne
• Oddfellows Arms, Wimborne
• Dorset House, Moordown, Bournemouth
• Julian House, 2 Nursery Road, Moordown, Bournemouth (Off-licence & depot)

The Julian Brewery itself was sold for £16,000 and the equipment therein for £150. Casks & horses were sold for £1,000.

The final valuation was taken at completion which was in February 1916 despite the auction being on 28 July 1915.
