Lion Brewery (Winchester) Ltd, Lion Brewery, 28 Eastgate Street, Winchester, Hampshire.
Founded by 1857 as the City Steam Brewery.
Purchased by Wootten & Co. Ltd. of the St.James's Brewery in December 1896. Name changed to the Lion Brewery Ltd. 1900 and as above 1906.
Acquired by Strong & Co Ltd. with 52 houses and 2 off-licenses in 1931 and brewing ceased.
