Founded 1870 by William Stephens as the Myrtle Brewery. Became the Lion Brewery 1879 when acquired by G.H.King.
Registered 1902 to acquire the business of King & Co.
Acquired by Brickwoods Ltd. in 1910.
Brewery still standing and converted into flats.
