The former Rutland Hotel. A Whitbread & Co. Ltd homebrew house which began brewing on a malt-extract plant in December 1982. Ceased brewing 2 years later but restarted in 1986, ceasing in 1989.
Restarted in 1993 but this too had stopped by 1996.
Temporarily brewed for the Frog & Parrot in Sheffield following a fire there in 1998.
Later, brewing recommenced as the Burley Street Brewhouse.
