Isaac Lawrence & Sons, Higher Ince Brewery, 165 Manchester Road, Belle Green Lane, Ince, Greater Manchester.

Offered for auction 30th January 1914 with 2 public houses but no bids received and was wound up.

Isaac W Lawrence died February 1916, his sons wounded or lost in the war.

Brewery plant for sale in February 1917.

Isaac Lawrence may also have been involved with the Crown Brewery, Leigh to c.1895.

Brewery became a dairy and was demolished c.1978.

Acquired by the Bedford Brewing & Malting Co. Ltd. in 1888.
