Recorded in 1923. Purchased by Thomas Lamb in 1860. Closed by 1926.
Trading before 1783 and in 1860 acquired by Thomas Lamb.  
 
The family was also involved with Hetton-le-Hole, see also [[Thomas Lamb & Sons (Hetton-le-Hole) Ltd]].
 
Registered 1911, but James William Lamb died in 1925 and the brewery, at the rear of the Lamb, was auctioned in 1927.
