Kelsterton Brewery Co. Ltd, Kelsterton, Clwyd.

Built 1818, though Thomas Bate here 1793, father-in-law of Timothy Bentley.

Edward Bate trading here from 1835. He died 1873 and Thomas Bate II succeeded.

Registered 28th March 1890 to acquire the business of Thomas Bate trading as the Kelsterton Brewery Co

Acquired by the Chester Northgate Brewery Co. Ltd in 1899 with 93 houses and company wound-up. Plant for sale May 1905, but used as depot until c.1922.

Stable now private house.
