Formerly a [[Shipstone & Sons Ltd]] house.
Frank Johnson of Lenton built the current pub in 1912, to the design of local architect Frederick Ball. Johnson died in 1952, and the pub was sold to [[Shipstone & Sons Ltd]] in 1953. In 2022, the modern [[Shipstone’s Beer Company Ltd]] acquired the pub.
 
The four Shipstone etched windows on the frontage are relatively modern.

Johnson Arms, 59 Abbey Street, Lenton, Nottingham, Nottinghamshire

Frank Johnson of Lenton built the current pub in 1912, to the design of local architect Frederick Ball. Johnson died in 1952, and the pub was sold to Shipstone & Sons Ltd in 1953. In 2022, the modern Shipstone’s Beer Company Ltd acquired the pub.

The four Shipstone etched windows on the frontage are relatively modern.
