Registered here in November 1892, though the brewery address was shown as Governor’s Yard.  


It was the '''Tweed Brewery''' in the 1850s. Incorporated as Johnson & Darlings Ltd in November 1892.
Effectively acquired / amalgamated with the Border Brewery in Tweedmouth ([[Berwick Breweries Ltd]]) in 1924 but to be worked as a branch under its own name.
 
It became part of [[Berwick Breweries Ltd]] in 1924. The Tweed Brewery was reconstructed in 1921, and after the merger, brewing was concentrated here.
