John Willian Watts, St John Street, Coleford, Gloucestershire.

Sandles details him as a wine and spirit merchant with an interest in several local pubs some of which had brewers listed eg the Red Lion which had a malt house and brewhouse, the Unicorn which had a malting at the rear.

However, he is listed as a brewer in his own right from 1892 to 1902.

He died in 1921.
