Registered 1887, merged with John Marston & Son Ltd. 1898 to form J.Marston, Thompson & Son Ltd. and brewing concentrated at the Albion Brewery. One of the two Thompson breweries on Horninglow Street burnt down 7 May 1914 when used by Marston's as corn and hay stores.
