Murray's brewed at this site right up until 1962 after they closed their Craigmillar Brewery in 1950. Possible then acquired by neighours Dryborough.

John Somerville & Co. Ltd, North British Brewery, Duddingston, Edinburgh, Lothian.

Registered May 1897 to acquire John Somerville & Co, wine and spirit merchants, Leith and Blyth and Cameron, North British Brewery.

Acquired by William Murray & Co. Ltd. 1922.
